  • 200 gr Teuk (rice cake)

  • 30 g carrots
  • 2 dried Shitake mushrooms

  • 1 tsp sesame oil


Tteokbokki Seasoning:

  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Kochujang
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp beef broth
  • a little sesame seeds, black pepper and sesame oil


How to Make Tteokbokki:

  1. Tteuk mixed with sesame oil. Slice the onions and carrots crosswise. Thinly slice Shitake mushrooms that have been soaked in hot water until soft.
  2. Cut the green and red chilies crosswise.
  3. Mix all ingredients for seasoning.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and add the spices.
  5. After the spices are cooked, add the onions, carrots, and chilies. Add and stir fry until the spices are absorbed into the tteok. Tteokbokki is ready to be served.
